Part A: Investigate & Analyse
Students learn how to research, take notes and investigate through an exploration of the role of composition in developing non-verbal skills. Investigate how peoples’ taste in music is influenced by changes in our society and culture.
Part B: Prepare and plan a performance
With your new understanding and appreciation of your chosen artist/band, choose a song to learn to play/sing or compose a song inspired by your artist/band. Think of rhythm, instrumentation, dynamic, structure and harmonies that may help you to create music like your artist/band. You may wish to work alone or in a group.
